Blends of Dubai is a premium fragrance house designed to celebrate the rich interplay between Arabian heritage and contemporary luxury. I was tasked with shaping the brand’s visual identity from the ground up—developing a logo and packaging system that could capture the elegance and mystique of the region while appealing to a modern high-end market. Each element was crafted to evoke a sense of cultural richness and sensory depth, setting the tone for an immersive brand experience.

Brand & Logo Design
To establish the identity for Blends of Dubai, I collaborated closely with DXB Perfume to craft a brand mark that conveys both cultural heritage and modern sophistication. The final design incorporates a stylized ‘B’ with a sweeping form inspired by the Burj Al Arab’s silhouette—a nod to Dubai’s iconic skyline and architectural prestige. This visual cue anchors the brand in place while suggesting movement, elegance, and fluidity.

Initial Designs
From the outset, the goal was to create luxurious packaging that reflected the prestige of Dubai while aligning with the elegance of the Blends of Dubai fragrance line. Black and gold were chosen as the primary palette to convey sophistication and exclusivity. Early concepts explored geometric patterns rooted in Middle Eastern design, created in Autodesk Fusion 360 for 3D mock-ups and Adobe Photoshop for 2D visualisations. These initial layouts helped visualise structure, scale, and impact.

Final Design
Following the development of the brand and logo, my next task was to design the packaging for three distinct fragrances, including the bottle front layouts. I began by producing initial concepts in both 2D and 3D mock-ups to establish structure and presentation. Once approved, I compiled a full production-ready packaging file for the factory in Dubai, including final 2D artwork, 3D visuals, and a die-cut template. Since their 2023 launch, these fragrances have been successfully sold across the UK and Middle East.
